The number 1's, Senade Haupt and Cheyna Tucker set the pace with a battle which saw both girls fight for every point. In the end Cheyna came out triumphant with a 3-2 win.

Next up, Ashleigh Ditchfield proved too strong for Hannelize Human and although a great game to watch, the junior was outhit by her senior counterpart.

Chanelle Birch and Bronwen Reilly displayed both courage and fitness by running each other from the first shot and once again the senior student sneaked in a close 3-2 win. Menanto Stoltz also overran Amy Viljoen securing a first place finish for the Tuks 1 girls.

The men finished a credible 5th — having played the whole league without their regular number 2 "banker". They also survived tough competition without the strength and length of Jason Cole Niven during the last 2 matches.

The NSA Mens League starts on 18 February.
