Tuks have to play the Ikey Tigers on 22 March in their last group fixture of the 2010 series and can statistically still make the semi-finals. The odds of everything going Tuks’ way in round seven are however as slim as finding a needle in a hay stack.
Tuks were always in with a chance against the Shimlas, but in the end the visitors used their chances better.
Shaun Davids scored Tuks’ two tries. Gertjie Smith converted both and also slotted home three penalties.
