Kevin impressed the audience at the onset by letting them generate a sixty digit number which he memorised in twenty seconds, reciting it fluently and repeating it backwards with the same ease. He was generous and humorous in sharing techniques on how to improve one's memory and demonstrated it by showing the audience how to memorise the names of the first 20 presidents of the United States of America, all done with the greatest of ease.
The morning concluded in the luscious mathematics garden where guests could experience the hospitality of the Department and meet Kevin Horsley in person.
