Public Seminar: Is it our Turn to Eat Now?

Michela Wrong is an internationally renowned investigative journalist who has worked for Reuters News Agency and the Financial Times and regularly writes for the New Statesman. She holds a degree in philosophy and social sciences from Cambridge and a diploma in journalism from Cardiff. Wrong is the author of In the Footsteps of Mr Kurtz (which won the PEN James Sterne prize for nonfiction in 2001), dealing with the regime of Mobuto and the West’s role in the collapse of Zaire (now DRC). She also authored It’s our Turn to Eat, the story of Kenyan whistle blower, John Githongo (2009).
