The Department of Historical and Heritage Studies of the University of Pretoria, in collaboration with the South African Heritage Resources Agency, cordially invites you to the fifth annual Heritage Month Webinar. This year’s theme, Entrepreneurship, Intrapreneurship and Employability in Heritage and Tourism, explores entrepreneurship opportunities in Heritage Management and Heritage Tourism, as well as key skills and competencies required.
Speakers from the Research Archaeology, the Haaga-Helia University of Applied Sciences in Finland, the South African Townships & Rural Employment Institute and the University of Pretoria Museums will illustrate the various opportunities, skills and competencies and innovative ideas in not only finding employment in the heritage sector, but also to create employment opportunities.
