Online applications for the 2025 academic year opened on 2 April 2024. It is very important to first verify the closing dates of the various study programmes to ensure you submit your application on time:

Register online from 21 January 2025
Please ensure you are registered by 31 January to avoid forfeiting your study place.

Using the online application system
To use the online application system, you will need internet access and an e-mail address that you access regularly. This is because once you submit your online application, the University of Pretoria will send your student number (EMPLID) to the provided e-mail address as confirmation of receipt.
