Module content | The process of design through the integration of supporting modules. The design of spaces with the emphasis on lateral thinking and ritual through adaptive reuse. The design of a commercial project in an existing architectural envelope in an urban context with a complex program developed to construction drawings in KON 320. Corporate identity, statutory requirements, feasibility and payability studies, tenant mix. Theory of normative positions and the relationship between global intellectual movements and the local debate. Appraising the state of current design production and the establishment of identity through design. Students may from time to time be required to undertake experiential learning/practical work, community engagement, or data collection activities related to on-site research in socioeconomically underprivileged areas. |
