Admission requirements

  • An MIS (Information Science/Multimedia/Publishing) or an equivalent master’s degree; or an MA (Development Communication) or an equivalent master’s degree.
  • The departmental Postgraduate Committee reserves the right to make a thorough assessment of the applicant's academic transcript and to decide if the applicant is suitable for postgraduate studies. An applicant also needs to identify a research focus area/field and a potential supervisor in the department and submit an abstract on proposed research ideas of approximately 800 to 1200 words.
