NAS Women: The journey to success is not a straight line
Women's Month: Focus on Ms Dikeledi Moche

Q: Job title and in which department/research entity do you work?
A:
Senior Management Assistant to the Dean of the Faculty of Natural and Agricultural Sciences.

Q: What has been the highlight of your career?
A:
Knowing that I am God's child and I am here for a purpose. My purpose - fulfilling the highest, most authentic expression of myself as a human being which means fulfilling the promise that my creator dreamed of me.

Q: What inspires you?
A:
Knowing my worth and living each day positively, grateful and most importantly, paying it forward by impacting someone's life.

Q: What challenges have you experienced in your career?
A:
Being bullied from school, poor education system, not having a voice/platform to be heard.

Q: What message do you have for the youth of South Africa?
A:
The journey to success is not a straight line - it is a journey full of pitfalls, self-discovery, downfalls and uphills. So to the youth, keep pushing, align your personality with your purpose - we only have limited time on this earth. Grab every opportunity that comes your way.
