#EndPlantBlindness Campaign

Posted on October 10, 2019

Following on from the success of last year, the Department of Plant and Soil Sciences will again be running the #EndPlantBlindness campaign to create awareness of the importance of plants in our everyday lives. This year we will be using the programme to create a 2020 calendar and launch the Department’s new social media programme

Rules:

You must use the #EndPlantBlindness

The photo must have a descriptive caption (limit 205 characters)

You can have as many entries as you like

The photos with the largest social media impact (A combination of likes, shares, and post reach) will be chosen as the winning photos and used in the compilation of the calendar.

Winners will get a complimentary copy of the calendar.

Any photos entered into the competition may be used for marketing purposes and you do not retain the copyright to that photo.

Anyone can enter

No nudity, bad language, drugs, etc., or allusion thereto.

Do not plagiarise any material off the internet or other sources.

Think outside the box and have fun!

How to enter:

Snap a picture showing a plant in your everyday life

Download an entry form from http://bit.ly/EndPlantBlindness2019

Complete the entry form, and email along with your picture, a short caption (no more than 250 characters), 3 hashtags of your choosing, and your social media handles for Facebook and Instagram (should you wish to be tagged in the posts) to [email protected]
