Marketing honours students take on a BMW challenge

Mr Alwyn du Toit, the Dealer Principal, gave the students a tour of the dealership and posed a marketing challenge to the group. The aim of the visit was to expose students to real industry marketing problems, which they then had to solve in a series of group challenges. The students will present their marketing ideas on how to target Generation Y and measure return on investment for an advertising campaign to the management of the BMW dealership in due course. The best group will win an advanced driving course from BMW. No wonder the students are taking this challenge so seriously!
