What does the degree entail?
Customers are constantly placing pressure on organisations to act responsibly, to provide quality products and services and to offer exceptional customer service. The Bachelor of Commerce specialising in Marketing Management equips students with the knowledge and skills to address decisions regarding new product development, repositioning of products, branding, pricing decisions, retail marketing, which outlets to choose, and how to reach target markets with marketing communication techniques. Students are also exposed to the principles of service marketing, business-to-business marketing, and consumer behaviour, marketing research, brand management, handling marketing issues, as well as strategic marketing. The minimum period of study for the Bachelor of Commerce specialising in Marketing Management is three years of full-time study.
