Mr Oosthuizen provided background information on the South African franchise industry and shared valuable do’s and don’ts of franchising. The students enjoyed the interaction with industry and posed several questions to the experts. The lecturer, Dr Melanie Wiese, said the students were very excited about the free copy of the latest SA Franchise Warehouse magazine, which each student received. To make the evening even more memorable, Absa sponsored complimentary tickets for five lucky students to the International Franchise Expo to be held from 9 to 11 May 2013 at the Sandton Convention Centre.
