The focus of her honours studies was on public administration, policy analysis and financial management. She is taking a break from studies this year but intends doing her master’s degree in the near future. Being a successful student definitely runs in the family, since Mrs Devar’s son, Thaverson Devar, also graduated a few days earlier in BCom (Informatics).

All staff members of the Department of Marketing Management are very proud of their colleague and note that she is an inspiration for many. She is a role model for all the staff members who are busy furthering their academic qualifications, because she has demonstrated that you can manage work, family responsibilities and academic requirements.
