Mr Manish Sharma, Marketing Category Manager for Kellogg South Africa remarked: “The students have done a great job in addressing our challenge! I was impressed with the passion and enthusiasm showed by them in the class. They were very creative in their ideas and had a clear thinking behind their marketing mix proposals”.
One of these creative ideas was a short advertisement that a participating group created.
Group 6 was the ultimate winner with their ‘Kellogg’s higher 5er’ breakfast idea. One of the students, Tyla Rogers, said afterwards, “Presenting to Kellogg’s was a great way to end off our Strategic Management course as they gave such detailed feedback and seemed genuinely interested in what we had to say. They gave us hope for next year when we enter the working environment.”
