QUICK GUIDE TO RESEARCH PUBLICATIONS ELIGIBLE FOR SUBSIDISATION

Please submit the following to the data capturer in your department:

1. Journal articles published during 2012 or accepted for publication in 2012. We only need copies of the first two and last two pages - if all the necessary information is on these four pages. Proof of affiliation to UP is necessary.

2. If your article was accepted for publication in 2012, but you have not yet received the hard copy of the journal, please complete the articles template (see attached) and submit to the capturer.

Template: Published conference proceedings to be submitted for subsidy evaluation

Template: Refereed research articles in peer-reviewed specialist journals not on DoHET list

3. Also submit copies of conference programs of conferences where you presented a paper. These data must also be captured.

4. Conference proceedings, books, and chapters should also be submitted with the completed templates. Please refer to the checklists. Pay special attention to the target population (the readers the publication is aimed at) and the peer review process. See the checklist for detail. Complete these and submit to your capturer. In case of a book or chapter, the book should also be submitted. We receive these back in due time.
