TuksVillage Residence

TuksVillage was established in 2008 after extensive research by the University amongst students regarding their accommodation needs. This residence is therefore in many ways unique: not only is the physical layout of the buildings different, but the ethos is also predominantly orientated towards the academics.

At TuksVillage, you’ll enjoy the best of both worlds: self-catering and a dining facility. Our beautiful home also offers a recreational hall, IT lab, study centre, Timbuktu lounge, a braai-deck and free laundry facilities.

Our motto, HereWeLive, reflects our drive to make TuksVillage a home for 640 students. To be Villager is to live with integrity, respect and to contribute to our beautiful home.

Here, you won’t only live, but will be challenged, will grow and will make life-long friends. While the academics are our priority, we offer a fun and balanced student-life programme. You’ll enjoy a wide range of opportunities to participate in sport, try your hand at something new, have a good laugh and most importantly to enjoy community!

The House Parent or Chairperson of the residence may be contacted for any residence-specific enquiries.
