The Dean of the Faculty, Professor Johan Buitendag, welcomed all present. Professor Thias Kgatla from the Department of Science of Religion and Missiology conducted the service. His message focused on the principles of ubuntu. Professor Melck, Executive Director of the University of Pretoria, attended the service. After the service guests enjoyed refreshments at Burgundy's.
