- Ben Schoeman (School of the Arts)
- Innocent Pikirayi (Dean’s Office) has been appointed by the NRF to the national panel evaluating the Department of Science and Innovation’s South African Palaeoscience Strategy.
- Sandy Africa (Dean’s Office) has been appointed to the board of trustees of the African Policing Civilian Oversight Forum.
- Theo van Wyk (School of the Arts) is the only musician from the African continent to be invited as recitalist and panel member for the 1st International Online Organ Festival, hosted in Pretoria.
- Zitha Mokomane (Sociology) has been appointed as one of two conveners of specialist committees to serve on the NRF Executive Evaluation Committee, the highest authority in the evaluation process of the NRF.
