Posted on August 11, 2009

Dear Colleague,

Invitation to Curricular and Research Community Engagement Exhibition at the Academic Service-Learning Seminar, 9 September 2009, SANLAM Auditorium Foyer, 8:00 -13:00.

The Department of Community Engagement, division for Curricular and Research Community Engagement (CRCE) invites all interested academics and researchers to actively participate in the CRCE Exhibition presenting posters/documents/products/ demos etc on their (and their students) Curricular and/ or Research Community Engagement activities / programmes (modules) / projects at the abovementioned seminar (refer to professor Ramaranka Mogotlane's invitation to the seminar).

Academics and representatives from UP, NWU, UJ, UFS, TUT, VUT, UL/ MEDUNSA, UNISA, WITS, Monash etc will attend the seminar.

A special 30 minute exhibition / poster session will be indicated on the seminar programme.

The goal of the seminar and the exhibition is mainly networking and exchanging of knowledge/experiences/examples of good practices. We would like to help in exhibiting UP CRCE activities. We will have boards for hanging posters and tables for display (thus 1 board and/or 1 table available for each display), but you have to bring and display your own marketing material / posters / documents / study guides /products to show case, do demonstrations etc.

If interested please respond by 21 August to Erika Roux [email protected] (tell: 012 4202826) by sending the name of your faculty/department/ academic programme and module with CRCE, name and details of researcher and /or academic staff member. A page with more instructions is available on request.

We are looking forward to hearing and seeing more about your faculty/department/unit/centre CRCE work at the exhibition.

CRCE regards

Gerda
