Please bring this information again to the attention of all your Heads of Departments and other relevant staff members. Appointing foreigners without valid permits in the employ of the University is a transgression of the law and puts the University of Pretoria at serious risk. Staff members who continue to contravene this ruling, act in contradiction to their UP duties and lawful instructions and this action may lead to formal action if continued.
