To Dr Maggi Soer (Communication Pathology) and her husband, Freek, whose daughter, Louise , got married on 24 Oct to Gerrie Gouws.

Resignation
Karen Vagle (CAAC) resigned and will be leaving UP at the end of the month. We wish her well.

Condolences
Our condolences to Prof Margaret Slabbert (Visual Arts), whose mother passed away on 22 Oct.
