Dr Stephan Muehr, Acting Head of the department, officially opened the function, welcoming the students and the honourable guests.
Each section of the Department of Modern European Languages performed. The German students presented a sketch and some songs. The French students presented two songs, one of them accompanied by guitarist and it ended with a song and a Salsa dance by the Spanish students.
In between the students’ performances, each section gave prizes to the best students of the class as well as to the meritorious ones. After this, everyone was invited to a wonderful buffet where they could also find German, Spanish and French specialities.
The function was a great success and the students had a lot of fun.
