The 2nd year MAAC students convened last week at the Centre for AAC to discuss their various upcoming research studies. The group was joined by Professor Mats Granlund and his doctoral students, Margareta Adolffson and Anna Karin Axelsson, from Jönköping University in Sweden, with whom some of the students will be collaborating on a larger research project examining how children with disabilities perceive their rights and whether these perceptions differ across diverse cultures. The research projects of most of the Master’s students should commence within the next couple of months and finish within this calendar year.
