This is an inspiring video of augmentative and alternative Communication (AAC) users who participate in the Fofa Youth Empowerment project. Fofa, which means “to fly” in Northern Sotho, is a training program for young adults with severe communication disabilities and focuses on facilitating leadership and empowerment skills for independence and employability. This video features some of the participants of the project and gives a valuable insight into the lives of people who use AAC to communicate.
