Log into the UP Portal, then go to Human Capital Management System, Self-service for Personnel, View/Print Tax Certificate.

The certificates will soon be available on the SARS e-filing website.

The 2011 tax year’s filing period for individuals begins on 1 July 2011. The deadline for electronic submissions of income tax returns for non-provisional tax payers is 25 November 2011, while provisional tax payers have untill 31 January 2012 to submit their income tax returns electronically. The deadline for manual submissions by all tax payers is 30 September 2011.
