Appointments
The Faculty would like to welcome the following staff:
• Prof Ulrike Kïstner, who joined the Department of Philosophy on 1 October.
• Ms Charlotte Keuris, who will be working as an assistant in the Marketing Office.

Staff changes
The Faculty would like to thank the following staff for their hard work:
• Ms Rhoda Grantham who helped out in the Dean's office during Ms Thanyani Malenge's maternity leave; and
• Ms Helena Jones who helped out at African Languages while Ms Rhoda Grantham was away.

A hearty welcome back to the following staff:
• Ms Thanyani Malange (Dean’s Office) after her maternity leave;

• Ms Lynette Holtzhausen (Anthropology and Archaeology) who underwent an open-heart surgery on 10 October; and
• Prof Henk Potgieter, who has been hospitalised and is recuperating at home.
