Bruch’s famous Concerto for Violin No 1 and Dvoøák‘s Romance were also played by two members of the first violin section, Carin Jansen van Vuuren and Mia Björkman respectively.

Jaco van Staden, the orchestra’s principal horn player played Vinter’s Hunter’s Moon. A Concerto for Two Clarinets by Krommer was played by Junnan Sun and Visser Liebenberg.
