Moeletsi Mbeki is a political economist and the deputy chairman of the South African Institute of International Affairs. He was a Niemann Fellow at Harvard University and is the author of Architects of Poverty: Why African Capitalism needs Changing and editor of Advocates for Change: How to Overcome Africa’s Challenges.
