Application for conference funding

The Faculty of Humanities has a fund to assist researchers who want to attend local and international conferences.
Researchers will have to prove that they do not have access to any alternative funds. The criteria are set out on the first page of the application form. The Research Committee has to receive applications at least six weeks before the commencement of the conference. NO late applications will be considered.

Application for Skills Levy funding

In Tracey's absence until end May 2012: Lorraine Malope ([email protected]; x4855)Application has to be made through the Performance Management System on UP intranet by capturing the training as a need. Once the line manager has justified and approved it, the incumbent types in the necessary detail of the course, prints the form and forwards it to the HRDC (Human Resources Development Committee) for consideration at their following meeting.
