In this presentation Prof Stead will provide an overview on publishing, especially in journals. An emphasis will be placed on reasons to publish, why people avoid publishing, helpful behaviours and attitudes to have about publishing, working with co-authors, what gets published and what gets rejected, what reviewers look for in manuscripts, and what to do if one's manuscript is rejected or when revisions are requested.
