On the intra-ACP Mobility Scheme:

It funds partnerships between HEIs from different countries within these regions, and grants scholarships for students and academics to carry out studies, research or teaching in another country covered by the programme. This scheme builds on the African Union’s Mwalimu Nyerere programme for Africa, granting additional funding, and setting up a similar scheme for the Caribbean and Pacific regions.

Cooperation between HEIs and mobility of students (at master and doctoral level) and staff will take place within:

Lot 1 - Africa;
Lot 2 - the Caribbean and the Pacific

On the 2nd Call for Proposals EACEA/11/12:

This Call for Proposals aims to support five partnerships under Lot 1 (EU budget available: € 10 million) and one partnership under Lot 2 (EU budget available: € 2 million). Both lots are open to the following fields of study:
- Agriculture
- Energy
- Medical Sciences
- Engineering

Info Sessions 2012:

We are organising information sessions on the current Call for Proposals in order to sensitise the relevant stakeholders in the Higher Education sector on the programme.

The following info sessions will be held during March 2012:

- Info Session Brussels 2012 at ACP House, 14/03/2012.
- Info Session Pacific region 2012, Suva (Fiji), 21/03/2012.
