What we offer
Scholarships of up to R50,000 per academic year for scholars at Masters and PhD level. We support both full and part-time study and will consider applications for those who wish to study by distance learning.

Are you eligible?
To apply for a scholarship under this programme you must be:

• a national of and resident, or have refugee status, in one of the following countries: Angola, Botswana, Lesotho, Malawi, Mozambique, Namibia, South Africa, Swaziland, Zambia, Zimbabwe.
• in possession of a good first degree (minimum 2:1, or upper second) or about to graduate in the year of application
• registered as a full or part-time Masters or doctoral candidate at the University of Pretoria.

Applicants will be expected to show their commitment to the development of their country and region.
