Online Teaching and Learning Forum

Posted on September 26, 2012

The Faculty’s Teaching and Learning Committee cordially invites you to the first online Teaching and Learning Forum. In her online welcoming address, Prof Emma Ruttkamp-Bloem (Deputy Chair: Humanities’ Teaching and Learning Committee) explains the reasons for our choice of topic for the forum: Inquiry-based Learning. She highlights the fact that it has practical meaning and implications for all of us and our teaching. We invite you to grab the opportunity by adding your voice to this faculty-wide discussion.

To join, follow these steps:

1. Click on the following link: https:/clickup.up.ac.za/webapps/portal/frameset.jsp

2. Type your username: “u0” (the latter being the digit “zero”)+personnel number (e.g. u01234567);

3. Type your UP Portal password;

4. You will see a list of all your modules (in this new clickUP). Click on the link: Humanities T&L Forum 2012.

If you have been appointed fairly recently, it is possible that your name was not yet on the list that was used to give all Humanities lecturers access. Should this be the case, please write an email to e-support ([email protected]):

- providing your personnel number and

- requesting access to the Humanities T&L Forum 2012-portal.

We are looking forward to your participation.

Prof Hennie Stander

Chair: Humanities Teaching and Learning Committee
