Manipulate your own research fund in order to get more money from the Conference Fund in the Faculty. Some staff members, for example, try to deplete their personal research account before they apply for funding. They buy, for example, a laptop just before they apply for funding, and then they tell us that they have no money in their research account. They then apply for the full R25,000.
