The above figures is the amount of NRF DAAD 2014 applications that have been submitted to NRF for review. NRF DAAD In-Country is awarding a 100 awards for 2014 of which UP is expecting to receive 10 to 15 of the 100 awards.
Remind students that the NRF Innovation call is still open for 2014. The internal closing date is 19 September - instructions details on how to apply is available on the UP website - External Bursaries. A student who has applied for the DAAD may also apply for the NRF Innovation award.
Supervisors are encouraged to assist students to complete the online application in regards the research proposals sections as this will eliminate the amount of corrections/returns that the Postgrad Desk sends back to students and ensures that UP will be submitting applications through of good standing.
