The Student Representative Councils of the University of Pretoria and the University of Free State addressed a range of issues related to transformation in the higher education sector. Mr Taymoon Mohammed-Altamash, Deputy President of the SRC (UP) and the facilitator of the SRC roundtable at the colloquium, argued that all students can contribute toward change in South Africa if they are committed to do so.
