Speakers from the Robben Island Museum, the New York University Abu Dhabi, the University of Pretoria, and the South African Heritage Resources Agency will illustrate changes and transformations in the heritage and tourism landscapes for the past three decades of democracy.

The Department of Historical and Heritage Studies of the University of Pretoria, in collaboration with the South African Heritage Resources Agency, cordially invites you to the seventh annual Heritage Month and Tourism Month Webinar. This year’s theme, “30 Years of Democracy”, focuses on the legacy of South Africa’s democratic transition, and its enduring impact on cultural, natural, underwater, tangible and intangible heritage and tourism sectors.
