This international conference will develop a rich understanding of both theory and practice and will debate
the politics of crossing geographic, linguistic, cultural and heteronormative boundaries in these 'contact
zones'. It will also showcase the South Asia-Africa experience in its broad diversity and feature scholars,
activists and creatives from South Asia, Africa and the diasporas.
