New Honours students for 2024 take note!

We will have an online introductory meeting on 14 February 2024 at 17h30.

Students will have the opportunity to meet the lecturers and learn more about the different modules

Registration must be done before classes start for the BIS Honours degrees.

UP Student Contract outstanding?

Due to covid-19 restrictions, clients are not allowed onto campus yet.
But there are FOUR contract drop off boxes available with security at the University Road, Roper Road, Prospect Street and Lunnon Road entrances of the Hatfield campus.
Students can also post or courier the contracts to UP.

Admission requirements

BIS (Information Science) degree or BIS (Multimedia) degree or BIS (Publishing) degree with a weighted average of at least 65% for relevant third-year modules or relevant bachelor’s degree with a weighted average of at least 65% for relevant third-year modules.

 Consult G Regulations G.16 to G.29.
 
 

Other programme-specific information

Subject to the provisions of G Regulation G.18.3, a full-time student must complete his or her studies for an honours degree within two academic years (four semesters) and an after-hours student within three academic years (six semesters) after first registration for the degree. However, the Dean may, on the recommendation of the relevant head of department, extend the period of study in both cases by a maximum of two semesters.
