The Department of Information Science places great emphasis on producing quality research outputs and has therefor developed a strategic plan that is structured to stimulate future research in the various disciplines it encompasses and aligning it to globally sustainable goals.

The department also aims to:

• conduct and supervise research relevant to trends in society and the research focus of the Faculty,
• produce research with impact and value on national and international levels,
• encourage our Master’s and Doctoral students to keep a lifelong interest in research, and
• continue our collaboration with our research associates and research partners.
