Magrietjie and Kollege were paired as a RAG team for 2014. Not only was it a year of change as RAG was held on L.C. De Villiers sports grounds, but Magrietjie also had to conform to Kollege's way of doing things. Instead of building a float and 'vou-ing' blommetjies', the Magrietjie and Kollege Coalition spent most of their time raising funds, food, toys and stationary for the underprivileged. The Spikkels and Vremies of 2014 also spent much of their time making dolls out of socks.

The float of 2014 bragged with all these items and along with it, the float was dedicated to the memory of Prof. Roelf Visser, who passed away the 31st of January. RAG was held on 6 February on a somber note as people remembered Prof. Roelf.

 The morning of Sunday, 7 February the float was taken to Syanqoba children's home, where the RAG committee spent a lot of time throughout the week. All of the items raised were dropped off and along with it was a Jungle Gym constructed by the RAG committee.

Although the Magrietjie Kollege Coalition placed fifth in the RAG procession, the highlight of the week was the many lives that they touched through their effort.
