Magrietjie is moving up the sporting ladder. We started the year off by getting our 'tekkies' out of the closet and stretching those muscles after the long holiday to participate in the Ienkathletics. The Spikkels of 2014 held nothing back when they stepped onto the green grass at LC de Villiers. Thanks to their enthusiasm and endurance throughout the day Magrietjie took 4th place. (1st Vividus Ladies, 2nd TuksSport and 3rd Asterhof)

Shortly thereafter we competed against the other ladies residences in soccer. With their kicking boots on Magrietjie scored and defended a few goals and in doing so made it to the semi- finals where we walked away with a third place.

The top of the achievements was in sight since it was once again time for drastoel - Magrietjie's favourite sporting event! After a few grueling minutes where Madelief took the lead the Magrietjie ladies shot past them to take the crown as drastoel winners… once again.

Well done to all the sport ladies you have made us proud.
