Marietjie's first Academic day

Posted on March 24, 2014

Magrietjie went on an academic outing with Taaibos to the Pretoria National Zoo. This entailed a special night tour through the zoo showcasing all the nocturnal animals. All the ladies (and men) really enjoyed the evening and picked up a few interesting facts about a variety of animals. As an example you can identify the gender of an elephant by looking at their forehead, the male has a round forehead and the female’s is squared, and did you know the reason for owls sometimes standing only on one foot is because their feet get cold and they need to warm them up between their feathers.

The very nice evening ended with some socializing and a braai.
