The core objective of this initiative is to achieve a 20% improvement on time on tools and in addition a 20% improvement in productivity. Turning the negative spiral of DFL productivity upwards.

Piloting of construction productivity initiatives during construction targets the following benefits:

 • Create awareness of current productivity baseline;

• Bring limited interference during actual construction;

• Use actual construction conditions as pilot basis;

• Offer opportunity of shared benefit to all parties; • Prioritisation of initiatives according to complexity and value;

• Agility of successful initiatives offering immediate value;

• Offer safe space for risk management; and

• Scaling of successful initiatives as future baseline.
