Celebrating Excellence: The Top Masters Research Students in Technology Management

The Graduate School of Technology Management at the University of Pretoria annually recognizes its outstanding Master's research students in Engineering Management, Project Management, and Technology and Innovation Management. The 2023 Top Students were honored during a hybrid event on Tuesday, 19th March, blending physical and virtual participation.
Attended by GSTM advisory board members, staff, and students, the event celebrated the dedication and scholarly contributions of these individuals. Despite challenges in a rapidly evolving technological landscape, they showed commitment, creativity, and academic excellence.
The recipients of the 2023 Top Student awards are:
• Khalid Abukalusa, Masters in Engineering Management: Adaptive Organisational Leadership Framework through Systems Thinking
• Puvern Pillay, Masters in Project Management: Agile project management beyond software: An exploratory study
• Ferdinand Hassan, Masters in Project Management: Barriers and Enablers of Engineered Wood Products in the Global Construction Industry: A Focus on Timber Construction in South Africa
• Sunja de Wet, Masters in Technology and Innovation Management: Influences on the Development of Entrepreneurial Creativity: A comparison between Entrepreneurs within South Africa and Norway
