Purpose of the (MEM)

To develop next generation professional engineering managers based on sought-after world-class curricula, excellent teaching and research underpinned by local and international collaborations, and to conduct these activities in alignment with the respective school, faculty, and university strategies.

To apply for admission, please follow the steps below:

Obtain relevant information

Check if you meet the Admission requirements and get information on the programme fees. The programme fee covers the first two years of registration. The applicable registration fee is payable for any registration thereafter. Fee includes tuition, study material, but excludes prescribed books.

Apply

Application dates:

  • SA citizens from:  1 April to 31 October 2024
  • Non SA from:  1 April to 31 August 2024

Apply before end of October

Verify outcome of your application on the portal

Pre-registration

Visit the Student Resources for all registration documents, for example Programme Guide, Registration Info, Timetables, etc.

Pre-registration steps:

  1. Complete contract on portal
  2. Pay initial fee (Banking details) or email your bursary  letter to  [email protected]
  3. International students contact [email protected] to lift International Block

Register

Choose your modules according to the programme Curriculum . Register modules on portal

Access clickUP

Access clickUP and Prepare for classes, do pre-class tests and assignments

Attend class

Attend compulsory online classes. Refer to Student Resources for the timetable. The GSTM semesters commence earlier then indicated on the general UP calender.

Write exams

Write examinations online
