Our Department, represented by Samy, Emma, and Tsholanang, spoke with scholars on 22 July at the recent Grade 9 Information Day about our different degree choices and required subject choices. These open days are important because they allow the scholars to speak with scientists in the different fields and disciplines. This allows them to make more informed decisions on what they wish to study after school. It also allows us to engage with the scholars in a meaningful way and to open their eyes to the many opportunities that exist in the natural sciences.
