Research in our department is fundamentally related to our disciplines - geography, environmental science, geoinformatics, and meteorology. However, it is often transdisciplinary in nature, involving more than one discipline, even from other departments and faculties, and we frequently collaborate with colleagues from academia, industry or government. The Geospatial Information Services team supports our research with software, analysis, information and maps. Our research can focus on the physical landscape, urban landscapes, meteorology and atmospheric science, geospatial data science, and earth observation.
