Seven scholars and three teachers from Reddford House visited the Department on 13 September, where they where given some hands-on experience with a GIS and remote sensing applications.

Mr Philemon Tsele will be leading a short course in remote sensing (Introductory Course in Remote Sensing: Physical Principles and Digital Image Processing) from 14-16 November. More information on the course can be obtained from the University of Pretoria Enterprises website.
